EYEBROW LIFT
Eyebrow aesthetics is largely an issue that can be corrected with dermocosmetic procedures. However, the most significant problem that requires correction through surgery or a more localised procedure is drooping eyebrows.

Eyebrow Aesthetics
The shape of an ideal eyebrow structure is largely determined by facial proportions. The inner edge of the eyebrow, the peak of the eyebrow arch, and the outer edge can be determined by the position of the nose wing and the eye.
For men, the ideal eyebrow height is the upper edge of the bony frame called the orbit that surrounds the eyeball. For women, this is approximately 1 cm above the bony line. In other words, women’s eyebrows are positioned approximately 1 cm higher than men’s. A lower eyebrow position poses a significant visual problem.
Brow Lift
Brow lifts can be performed with temporary and simple methods, or with more long-lasting or permanent methods. These include Botulinum Toxin injections, thread lifts, or surgical procedures.
Brow Lift with Botox
- For those who fear the permanent consequences of a permanent eyebrow lift,
- For those who are not considering surgery for a brow lift,
- For patients with a very high hairline or baldness, Botox may be an option.
The frontalis muscle, which begins between the outer edges of our eyebrows in our forehead and extends towards the nape of our neck, elevates the eyebrows and forehead. When only the central bundles of this muscle are paralyzed by Botox, the bundles on either side are relatively lifted. This allows us to partially lift the eyebrows with Botox. The procedure is extremely simple and takes approximately 5 minutes. The effects appear within 4-7 days. During this time, the area should not be rubbed or bathed with hot water to prevent the injected Botox from spreading.
Brow Lift with Filler
While applying filler under the eyebrow does not lift the eyebrows in a gradual manner, it can have this effect by partially increasing the distance between the upper eyelid and the eyebrow. The use of filler can achieve effective results in cases of premature brow sagging due to abnormal aging.

Brow Thread Lift
The brow arch can be lifted upward by placing dissolvable or permanent threads under the skin.
The thread lift method can be used for patients who do not want surgery but want a permanent or temporary brow lift. The procedure can be performed in the office under local anesthesia. The most significant side effects of a brow thread lift are the eyebrows’ drooping appearance during facial expressions and their rapid return to their previous position.
Brow Lift Surgery
Very natural results can be achieved by removing a strip of skin just above and along the brow, elevating the brow area by inserting an incision through the hair, or using the recently popular technique called “galeoplasty.” The procedure is performed under general anesthesia in an operating room. The procedure typically lasts between 30 minutes and 1 hour. The patient can be discharged the same day.
Endoscopic Brow Lift
There is a significant misunderstanding here. The use of endoscopy in a brow lift does not mean that the brows are lifted without any incisions, through a small incision. However, it does mean that the tissue dissection in this area is performed with the aid of an endoscope to prevent damage to the two nerves located just above the brow arch. However, galeoplasty, a new approach to brow lift, eliminates the need for an endoscope altogether.
